Development of an institutional logo

as we have created a film we needed logos to represent the different companies that helped create the film.

We made a number of different logos for each company so we could choose the logo that best suited each one.

Sunbear Productions: Our company is called sunbear productions, because of this my group decided that the sunbear must play a big role in the logo, so after deciding this we started to create logos.

This is one of the first logos we created for our production company, as you can see the bear is in the center of the logo and is the main poin where the attention is drawn to. However, the logo does not look very professional and wont hold the attention of the audience so it is unlikely that the audience will remember the name of the production company.

This is the final logo for our production company, as you can see the bear again is the focus of the piece with the name of our company covering a small section of it. I believe this logo looks a lot more profesional because of the drawing and the two tone name. Along with thw sund that it is combine with in the film I believe that is it a very effective logo and will hold the attention of the audience and that the audience wll remembe thename of the company after the logo has gone from the screen.

For our film we added a second production company to the piece.

This is the first logo created for the Fiction Pictures production company. As you can see it looks very professional however the scene behinde it may not be easily recognised by the audience so it may not stick in their minds after seeing the logo.

This is the final logo for fiction pictures. For this logo we used the London skyline which is a very iconic scene and links well with the independent British company. The purple sky behind it is also very striking and the audience will remember it.
